Welcome to Verulamium at Play.

Verulamium at Play is a registered charity raising money to help redesign and replace the now extremely dated flagship playground in Verulamium Park, St Albans.

Now that funds are secured, we are involved in getting the new play area in place. This includes participating in the council’s public consultation period during February and March 2019. For more details on this, including a design display open evening on Tuesday February 12th at Verulamium Museum, please see the news section on the council’s website.

As part of this process, we have commissioned our own designs for the play area from landscape architects Davies White which give an idea of the sort of exciting and accessible play area we would love to see in our City’s beautiful park. Ultimately, however, final decisions will lie with the Council to whom the play area belongs.

We remain committed, in particular, into ensuring any new play area is more accessible than the existing equipment and gives enhanced play opportunities for all children.
