You will be able to view some of the finest Roman mosaics and wall plasters outside the Mediterranean, recreated Roman rooms, the Sandridge hoard of gold coins and a host of other objects that bring to life our city in Roman times.
All funds raised will support Verulamium at Play to create a new play area in Verulamium Park.

A glass of something chilled, catching up with friends, and listening to wonderful live music from acoustic duo Supermoon. Verulamium at Play’s chilled fundraiser evening was enjoyed by all and we raised £££s for the new playarea!

On Saturday July 15th at 2pm we’ll be gathering at the play area to fill the sky with bubbles and wish for a new playground in Verulamium Park.
There’ll be family-friendly activities at The Inn on the Park cafe from 12.30pm and Wish Upon a Party’s very own fairy godmother will be leading the proceedings.
Verulamium at Play is a community-led registered charity in St Albans, UK. We are raising money to replace the existing, outdated play area in Verulamium Park. Our vision is to build a modern, inclusive, stimulating play area that encourages outdoor, adventurous and imaginative play for all.

There’ll be family-friendly fundraising activities at The Inn on the Park from 12.30pm, including a photobooth, raffle, face painting, cupcakes and an opportunity to buy bubbles.
Wish Upon A Party’s very own fairy godmother will make an appearance and she’ll lead us to the playground at 2pm to wave our bubble wands and wish for a fabulous new play area!

Our collection at Waitrose over the weekend was hugely encouraging. Over £800 raised thanks to the generous folk of St Albans and many, many positive conversations from young and old. “About time too!” said one shopper – we agree!
